Father, Dad, Honey. . .I answer to many things. My family and the outdoors are my passions. Mountain Biking, Hiking, snowshoeing, slacklining, camping, canyoneering, trail running, fishing; I love to do it all. If there is an adrenaline rush I'm into it.
Dawn is who keeps the family running. . .literally. With seven kids life is a marathon. Yet she has the endurance and stamina to reach the finish. While Gage is off "in the wild" she is home "with the wilds". Serving is her motto; she is at home caring for the elderly or newborn. How does she keep up her energy? Running with our black lab shifter and Diet Coke.
He towers over his siblings and mom. Destined to be a scientist; he loves computer programming and building and destroying things. Inheriting the love of the outdoors, he too is comfortable in the wild. If you hear a trombone playing late at night, it is most likely him, because he forgot to practice.
If you ever walk into a courtroom and he is the prosecutor. . .settle. Since the age of 7 he has been writing "contracts" for his siblings; babysitting contracts, job contracts, etc, all initialed and signed by each member of the family with one copy for him and one for the parents. If there is a rule, he will know it, make it or change it. He plays the trumpet in the day, because that is when he is supposed to.
Animals are her passion. She owns a Bearded Dragon, and is constantly with our two dogs and cat. In her free time she watches animal planet. She can out hike, bike, climb, swim and backpack any boy I know. If a boy can do it, she can probably do it better.
The name says it all, if he is angry stay out of his way. He owns a 16 inch long bearded dragon which spends most of the day hanging on his shirt. He is loving, stubborn, smart and very determined. If you want a kid on your side, he is the one.
There are no pictures in which she is not posing. She loves being a girl. Constantly asking; "How do you like my outfit?" She is loving, friendly, caring and her teachers call her the "queen bee". She has taken over many dance classes or sunday school classes; informing the teacher that they should do something else. She loves hugs.
First day of kindergarten upon returning from school he replied, "it was pretty boring." "All we did was laugh. . .laugh. . .laugh and play games. No cool teenager stuff" Some day he may rule the world. He hates singing and sitting. He loves animals, bike riding and doing big kid things.
She wants do do everything anyone else can or does. She is very "girly" and yet very tough. Sometimes she runs the family. Music is a passion for her. In the car we have to listen to "her songs". At night she sleeps where ever and with whomever she wants as she says, all the bedrooms are hers. A great finish to a great family.
