What do you say about Sammy?
He was so excited to go to kindergarten. Because the Kindergartners have testing the first week of school, they don't officially attend until one week after if begins. This is his story. . .
As the kids get ready to attend the first day back so does Sammy. When Dawn informs him that he doesn't go yet he flips out and says "then I will ride my bike." I asked if he knew how to get there, to which he responded no, but I will find it. He scored quite a bit above average in testing so he didn't qualify for all-day kindergarten. But they said he could attend anyway because they had a lot of openings. (apparently many moms don't want the stigma that goes with all-day kindergarten). The next day they called and said he couldn't because they had more lower testing kids. He was of course angry again. The first day finally arrives. . .off he goes. Home he comes. Dawn asked him how he liked it. He said it was," way to long and kind-of really boring". When asked what he learned he put his hand to his mouth and said,"that she's not sure if we can have applesauce." Whatever. He then said he won't go anymore. Day two arrives, he informed us he would only attend if he could get a rolling back pack "with white wheels". The black ones might mark the floors. Oh, it's going to be a good year, I love that kid!!
